Be a responsible Visitor – Help us to protect the environment and provide you and future visitors with an enjoyable visit

Reduce your carbon footprint

Respect nature and the local community Help us to look after our environment for future generations by guarding against fire, taking litter with you and using footpaths ways responsibly.

 

Conserve energy and water –At the centre we use solar panels to heat our water and help us to save energy by making sure that taps are fully turned off.

 

Give the car a rest – Leave the car behind, if only for a day, walk, cycle or use public transport. The 55 and 56 bus stops outside the centre.

 

Shop local – As an independent garden centre we try our best to support local retailers and business were possible.  We are fortunate to have some fantastic producers of food, drink, and arts and crafts in our region. We try were possible to buy local both plants and produce for our cafe.  Ask about local markets and regional produce

 

Reduce, reuse and recycle – We recycle as much as possible here at the centre and use 100% bio gradable bag, once you have finished with these bags use them for your compost. Try and recycle any waste you have. Place your recycling and rubbish in the bins provided.

 

Reduce your carbon footprint – We grow a majority of our plants ourselves less than 1 mile away. This helps cut our carbon footprint by reducing transit time helps to reduce the effect of global warming so help u help the planet by buying British.
